I'm a big believer that you can't pre-name a baby. Well, maybe some people can, but I can't. I need to meet my child first and then decide. Greyson was likely to be Finnegan or Sullivan, but once he was born neither name felt right. The same thing happened with Miss Amelia. For years both Michael and I have loved the name Eleanor and had really planned to name our baby girl that, but once she arrived she just wasn't an Eleanor. Michael suggested Amelia Mae and after letting the name "marinate" overnight we woke up, looked at our sweet girl and agreed it was the right name for her.

She's our sweet Amelia Mae, and it fits her.

I think its beautiful. And I like both names together...it has a flow that is musical. I can't get over how pretty she is.
Love it. And I'm so glad you went with Mae as a middle name because, to me, she will forever and always be Baby Mae.
