An uneventful pregnancy thus far! I am so thankful to have made it to the second trimester with nothing worse than some fatigue and a little morning sickness!
A healthy, growing toddler! Greyson really is such a sweet boy. I am so proud of him and how far he has come. Even though he sometimes makes me crazy and tired, he also makes my world. His sweet smile and cuddles make everything better.
A wonderful, supportive husband! Micheal puts up with SOOOO much from me. And I appreciate it. I'm so thankful to be married to such a wonderful, caring man who also happens to be an absolutely wonderful father too. He's never shied away from a poopy diaper and he's taken on the bedtime routine. He is the rock of our family.
Netflix! I know this seems silly, but instant streaming is AMAZING! Thomas the Tank Engine and The Backyardigans are at our fingertips when ever Greyson and I need some veg-out time. I love it when Greyson and I snuggle into our bed and we watch a show together.
Cadie our Speech Therapist! Greyson has been seeing a speech therapist every 2 weeks for over year. Cadie really helped us figure out how to communicate with our then non-verbal son, and then we together we finally got him talking! She also helped with eating strategies like boosting the flavor of his foods. And she was so helpful when we were at the low point of Greyson's not sleeping. Her cheer-leading and strategies finally got Greyson sleeping more than 4 hours at a time!
Parents Day Out! Greyson hasn't actually started PDO yet (he starts next week) but I'm so thankful that we got him in. They are bending the rules and putting him in a older classroom. He'll be with "young 2's" but he'll still be the youngest by at least 4 months. I know he'll be able to handle it and I think that being around other, older kids will help his speech even more.
Grandparents! Both my parents and Michel's parents have been wonderful about helping us with Greyson. They watch him regularly and I love that they are so much a part of our lives.
Jobs! I'm so thankful that both Michael and I have good jobs at good companies. We both feel blessed to work where we do.
Friends! Both those I known for years and those I only know via the "interwebs". I am so thankful to have such wonderful, supportive and caring people in my life.
So many things to be thankful for.
(Here's the 2009 Thankful list.)
