March for Babies

The Kansas City March for Babies is next week and Greyson and I are still $115 short have EXCEEDED our goal!! We would love to surpass it as a way to say THANK-YOU to the NICU that saved his life over and over again. It is amazing how far he has come. Just the fact that only a few months after his unexpected and too early arrival he is well enough to attend this walk is a testament to the advances in care for the treatment of premature babies.

Greyson just hours after he was born.

The day we left the hospital.

This morning!

Please Donate! Do it in honor of my wonderful little man, who is here with us today because of the advances in medicine spurred on by the March of Dimes - including surfactant, which Greyson received MANY does of to help along his underdeveloped lungs.
Donate in honor of your child or grandchild, niece or nephew, who hopefully made it to term and is happy and healthy.
Donate in honor of the families who are still fighting to bring their child home from the NICU, or those who never will.

I was re-reading my blog from Greyson's NICU stay and realized how much never made it in. There is so much to being a NICU parent that you just can't put down in words. But click on any of the links below for at least a small glimpse of what it was like.

Thank you to everyone who has donated already, it means so much to us!
