Retroactive Post: Amelia Turns ONE!

*There were so many things that have happened of the past few months that in the chaos of the move(s) did not get blogged about.  I'm going to try to cover them retroactively.  Try being the optimum word.*



My baby girl turned ONE at the beginning of the summer.  ONE!?  How is that possible?  Where did my beautiful baby go?  She's turning into a beautiful little girl.  I'm so happy and yet is kills me at the same time.

The little princess got to celebrate TWICE!  The first was just cake on her actual birthday with Grandma Stormy and Grandpa Gene.  She and Greyson ran around and played on the new swing set.  They both had a blast!

Then a few days later we had a lovely little party for her at Grandma Chestnut and Grandpa Richard's house.

Amelia was decked out in her Birthday Girl shirt and fancy tutu from Aunt Rachel!

Those giant eyes of hers take everything in.  She often has this look on her face - not quite sure what to make of the situation.

 She loved her cake!

She even had a great time hanging with the older kids watching a movie as we all tried to unwind post cake and presents.

It really was a lovely birthday.  I'm so happy to have my Sweet Amelia Mae.  It seems strange we've only had her for a year.  What did we do before her?  You have my heart little girl!
