Amelia Mae: 4 months

My sweet Amelia, you have only been with us for 4 months and already I can barely remember life without you.  It seems impossible that we were ever a family before you arrived.  We were happy before you, but now we are complete.


I have never met a baby who smiles and laughs more than you.  It seems that everything delights you these days, except being put down while I try to cook dinner.  You are not a fan of being set down.


Everyone comments on how alert you are. You take everything in.  Sometimes I can see the gears turning in your head, even at 4 months old you are figuring things out.
 

The other thing we get comments on is your hair.  Your hair is long, whispy and beautiful.  I'm already reading up on how to braid it - waterfall french braids are definitely in your future! 

I cover you with kisses all the time, you are just so kissable. You now have the softest skin, it is like silk. 


You have figured out rolling from your tummy to back and you love reaching for your toys. You move with purpose these days.


Amelia, I am amazed with you every day, and fall more and more in love with you every moment.

Don't grow-up too fast.
