So worth it

Today was our NICU reunion and it was even better than last year. It was wonderful to see all the growing, happy babies toddlers and it was even better to see the other moms! I love you NICU Mommas!

Every time we go up to the NICU, heck every time I drive past the NICU, I get a little dip in my stomach about everything we went through to get Greyson home to us. And honestly he had an easy ride for a baby his gestation. But whether you had a 2 day, a 10 day or a 100 day stay having a baby in the NICU is a traumatic experience. But it is so worth it. These little guys are AMAZING!

Something else that is worth it...finally being named "mom-mom" by my son! Yes, that's right! My non-talker pointed to me TWICE tonight and said "mom-mom" and in front of witnesses! YAY! I love that kid!
