This weekend we tired having Greyson sleep without his crib. After a week of barely a nap I was ready to try anything. So on my Mom's advice we took his mattress out the crib and made him a bed on the floor. It was great in some ways and not great in others. We let Greyson play on the bed and just generally hang out there. He liked spending time on it and putting his head on the pillow.
I actually got 2 good naps out of him! Unfortunately I have to lay with him until he completely goes to sleep for him to stay on the bed. This just isn't practical for us. So we put the mattress back in the crib today, but arranged the pillow and blankets so it looks just like the bed he had fun playing on over the weekend. I even put him in the crib for a few min today and he happily played in there. I'm hoping that this change-a-roo will help him to like the crib again.
We'll see how tonight goes.

I have a pillow question - does Greyson have a full pillow or a small pillow? Isaac loves a pillow when he comes to bed with us and I was curious when/what pillow you used.
He's used a regular pillow (though a slightly flat one) for a few months now. It started out as a pillow for me, then I just left it. He really likes it. He'll start off the night laying on it, but ends up scooting off it during the night.
