lead test

A lady from the city came out and spot tested the house for lead. She was really nice and helpful and pulled out a set of foam blocks and a chipped car that could be causes of Greyson's elevated lead levels - and the mini blinds. So we will be getting rid of those things. She walked around the house and said "I'm really surprised he had higher levels since your house is so clean and you've made good toy choices." That kind of made my day. Hopefully changing out the blinds and tossing the blocks and the car will do it. He'll be tested again in March.

I'm glad you (hopefully) found the source of the problem. I just looked through Greyson's 1st birthday party pics and they are cute- I love the expression on his face with that cake! Priceless.

I'm really glad things look hopeful. I was wondering what kind of test they have for this sort of thing. I guess its not a big surprise that the best equipment out there is a trained and experienced person who can "spot test" like you said.
I suppose were just not in the future where you have a ray gun that you can point at things and have it blink alarmingly to indicate, well, whatever it is that you want to know about it I guess! :)
