You guys are seriously screwed. I think you should take into consideration Jeff's suggestion of tying a rope to a cinder block and looping the other end around the kid. 3 foot radius can't get him into too much trouble, right?
That totally made me tear up! Congrats! Also, we actually did the cinder block thing with our dog at my folks' house once, and it totally works. In case you were wondering.
HOORAY! that's fantastic. it looks like his arms are gonna be just as strong as his legs :) plus you caught some great facial expressions from him in this vid, super cute!
