For the past 5 years I've worked for a wonderful non-profit organization that I love and respect. Unfortunately the early arrival of Greyson has made it impossible to return to full-time employment. So last week we parted ways. I'm sad about this change and wish we could have worked something out, but it was he right thing to do.
Also last week I accepted a new job which will allow me to work from home most of the time and go into the office only one day a week for the next couple of months and 2 to 3 days a week after that. It really is an ideal situation and I am very excited about the new opportunities this position presents.
So today I am really getting my home office set up. Greyson is asleep in the Pack 'n' Play next to my desk and I'm looking forward to this new set-up.
This is just one more way in which Greyson has changed everything. Change is hard, but this change is good.
