Step Back

But just a little...
They decided to put Greyson back on the cannula for a little while. But with very little flow. I know that it is a good move because he was having some spells and drifting low, but I'm still sad that we have to take this little step back.

Morgan, I'm so sad to read this. Mostly because I know how frustrating and overwhelming it can be for any new mom, even with a full-term, perfectly healthy baby. I can't imagine how difficult this time is for you. I've always told every new mom that chosing child care for your baby when you can't be there, is the most difficult and most important decision you'll ever make. You'll hear lots of advice from everyone, but ultimately, you'll find what works best for you. I wish there was an easy solution, but just hang in there. You're managing so much already. I know you'll figure out the right "next step" when the time comes. What can your friends do to help? Is there anything you need, even if it's to talk or cry, don't hesitate to call, and don't be afraid to ask for help. Being a new mommy can have it's difficult and trying moments, and the "mommy mafia" can help from time to time. As for childcare, what are your guidelines? Can he not be around ANY other kids, or just large groups? What about a smaller, in-home daycare, is that an option? Could I help or would exposure to my two kids be a danger for him? Please just know that I'm thinking of you and your young family! I'll keep reading for updates, but call if you need anything! Jennifer
