Changing

Greyson is changing before our eyes. Everyday when I go up to see him he is different in some way. It is amazing to think that he should still be in the womb right now and all these changes would be going on without us getting to see it. Greyson is getting chubbier and more alert. I'm beginning to learn his signals and how to tell if he is really having a destat or if the monitors are just not picking up correctly. I'm trying to take all my cues from him. It is getting easier to go to the NICU now that I can hold him when ever I want. I love spending all my time up with him. When all I could do was stand next to the isolette and stare at my baby it was really hard and I could only do it for a few hours. Now, I'd be up there 24/7 if I didn't need to do things like sleep, eat and take care of my dog and husband.

I am so ready for him to come home so I CAN spend all my time with him and watch him change as time goes by.
