30DBC - Day 9: something you're proud of in the past few days

Successfully taking Greyson to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art!

We went on Friday when the weather was nice. We walked around the lawn and then went inside. This was the first time I had taken him in a stroller and it may have been the secret to our success. Greyson directed me to things he thought were interesting. Watching his face go "OOOOO" when he saw the dragon/lion sculpture in the Asian room was fantastic. Then he went on to point out horses, camels, dragons and lions all over the museum. He also spotted colors and shapes.

Without any planning on my part the museum was a giant toddler scavenger hunt.

He's been talking about the "muse-um" and "BIG sculptures" for days. In fact I think we will go back this afternoon. It's a quick, easy and free outing!
