Long, long ago I babysat two wonderful little girls who had a favorite book called "More, More, More. Said the Baby"*. We read this book a lot. It had 3 stories; the first about "Little Guy", the second about "Little Pumpkin" and the third about "Little Bird". I remember thinking way back then, "when I have babies I'll call them my little birds."
Many, many, years later when we found out we were pregnant I wanted to start a blog about that experience and I still loved the idea of calling my children my little birds. And since we knew that we wanted more than one child I made sure that the blog name as "birds" not just "bird" because I didn't want baby #2 or #3 (we won't really be having 3) to feel slighted.
I love my little birds!!
*We have the book now and Michael HATES it! I still like it though.
