When Greyson was younger, say 15-16 months I was trying to do fun art projects with him, but realized he was too young. He just wasn't interested. Also, much like my brother - he doesn't like to have dirty hands - the rest of him can be filthy, but the world comes to a screeching halt with his hands are dirty. Things like finger painting were torturous. So I packed up the art supplies and relegated myself and my son to a world of blocks, trains and cars. Leaving the "art" strictly for crayons and stickers.
Now I think that can change. He's getting older and is starting to show more interest. I'm excited about this. I can't wait to start getting out the glue and paints! The next step is to make a safe place for all this crafting. Hmmm....kitchen or basement?
