Making use of our Friends of the Zoo pass!

Since it was finally cooler yesterday (and by cooler I mean upper 80's) we headed to the zoo. We arrived before the gates opened and were among the first to enter. We headed right for the new polar bear exhibit. It is really a nice addition to our zoo.

After the polar bear we were able catch a ride on the train!

Greyson had a blast in the jungle gym by the Discovery Barn.

Then we looked at some animals before riding the carousel.

After the carousel we split an ice cream sandwich and headed home! Everyone was sleepy from a very busy day at the zoo.

Greyson looks so cute with his new haircut, all grow up! The picture of him riding the train is one of a kind, he looks so must like a toddler now. What a big boy he is. And the zoo is always a nice place to full family fun.

Thats way cool. We should have gone to the zoo when we lived in Warrensburg! That looks great!

Becky, when did you love in Warrensburg?

We lived in Warrensburg March of 2003 through May of 2005. My husband got his Masters degree at CMSU (or University of Central Missouri). We got married in March of 2003, I moved in with him on campus (he was a resident director) and we lived there till he got the job at ASU and we moved to AZ. Way too small of a town but it was such an easy drive into Lee's Summit for civilization.
