Well I'm back at the pump. A friend's baby needs breastmilk and luckily I'm still breastfeeding so I've pulled out the pump! It's weird to be doing it again, it was a year ago this month that I packed it away. The feeling is VERY different from nursing, I'd forgotten.
Luckily I have - The Hands Free Nursing Bra - it makes pumping so much easier. Any pumping moms out there, get one NOW!
(YAY - first session = 43mls Not a ton, but not bad either!)

OMG!!! This is a HUGE amount compared to what I was getting!!! I just can't thank you enough for this Morgan!
Words cannot express what this means to us. It's something I've been able to give my other 2 children, but from the stress, dehydration, lack of sleep, and horrible nutrition, I just can't do it anymore this time around.
Max needs this milk and we are so grateful to you for offering this wonderful gift.
Thank you for the lab tests, your milk and your time. It's not something I can ever repay. But Max will hopefully repay you in smiles and hugs for the rest of a long, healthy life.
You're a wonderful mommy and I'm so glad to have you as my friend.

I think this is really cool. And I think 43mls isn't bad! Its a good start!
That is awesome. You are a superhero.
you are a milk making goddess rock star! You'll have a wonderful story to tell Greyson that the milk you made for him to keep him healthy also helped another baby!
If your bra is ever in the wash, Kellymom has tips on how to hands free pump with rubber bands. I used it when I pumped for Cole and it worked well.
And yes, it feels soooo weird. Moo. ;)
