Bed time

Recently Greyson has gotten really good at going to bed...he's not good at staying in bed, but going to bed isn't a problem anymore. We have settled into a nice routine. We put Grey into pajamas and a diaper with the extra "night-time" liner. Then we settle into the twin bed to read some books.

Greyson loves to read books himself. Turning the pages and finding a new picture is always exciting for him.

He either loves what he finds on the page....

...Or he doesn't think it is too cool at all.

After book we move to the glider.

Greyson tires to get comfortable...

Then he sits on my lap and nurses for awhile. I love this time. But don't be fooled, it's NOT a cuddly, sweet time. Greyson nurses with one leg in the air, and he grabs that foot and bounces it back and forth! Sometimes he kicks me in the face while nursing. Sometimes he tries to roll around and it makes me think of trying to nurse a baby alligator, but luckily he's learned that biting will not be tolerated. I've gotten used to his crazy ways, and even with the "dangers" nursing him is something I wouldn't trade.

Breastfeeding my amazing baby at Nymph Lake.
This is the only photo I have of his nursing habits!

After he nurses I put him in his crib with his blanket and with Scout. Greyson adores Scout, he lays on top of him and presses the song button until he falls asleep. I have to take Scout out of the crib so he doesn't turn it back on once he falls asleep. He goes to bed without even a hoot these days. It's great! Now, if only he would STAY asleep!
