I work from home. I am ever so grateful that I am able to do this. But recently Greyson has been making it hard. So I've been finding new ways to keep him entertained while I work. Shredding up Kleenex...
...and lining up things for him to grab off the table so he won't grab my To-Do List. He takes things off the edge of the table and sets them on the ground. He cleared the whole table before sitting down to play with them.
Those eyes are stunning!!! I bet he gets anything he wants by just flashing those baby blues at you!
Some of my mini-successes in keeping Radar busy for a little while are the LeapFrog Chat & Count Cell Phone ($15)... he used to be entertained by my cell phone, but he actually dials numbers and that's not good. The other trick is the secret drawer. I have a drawer which I keep chalk full of non-danger stuff (paper, a toilet paper roll, a three ring binder and various knick knacks... I periodically go and put something in there to get his attention and then when I'm not looking he goes and empties it and plays with the stuff for a while.
Oh I can't imagine when Isaac gets bigger how difficult WFH will be. I've been home several days as he's kicking this respiratory stuff and some days have been good, today super fussy. We implemented the car nap. My boss has been super nice to let me do this as we have no family here, but man today was rough. I put him in the ergo to sleep him so I could type freehanded. I wish I knew my moby better (well, I'm selling that hopefully). Any other WFH tips you want to post would be totally appreciated.
I don't know what it is in these photos, especially the top one, but to me he looks older than ever! of course, uhm, if it's the most recent photo, then he IS older than any other photo, but I think you know what I mean! And I love the toys on the table idea, totally makes sense to me. Maybe I'm wrong in this, but I like that Greyson usually likes to do things and make movements slowly and deliberately. Again, maybe I'm wrong, but in my head I see some infants taking the toys off the table and just throwing them on the ground, or just pushing them off the table instead of picking them and setting them, one by one. :)

Ok, now I have to go watch the quick videos.
