Christmas Wrap-up

Wow, what a weird Christmas. It snowed on Christmas Eve making it a harrowing drive home from my parents house on the 24th. It took almost twice as long to get home as it normally would. Then is KEPT SNOWING! All night long. It was a White Christmas! Unfortunately that meant horrible roads and unnecessary risk. So we postponed Christmas with Michael's family and stayed inside all Christmas Day.

In someways it was really nice because our little family of 3 (plus Tallulah) hunkered down, watched movies and opened presents. In other ways it didn't feel like Christmas without driving all over town to visit family. So Greyson's Second 1st Christmas was a little strange, but fun.

We slept in which was nice. While I'm sure Michael won't love it, I do love this picture of my boys asleep on Christmas morning.

Christmas morning he opened up presents from us, which included 2 new wooden cars, some Dr. Suess board books and a toothbrush - a stocking tradition!

Greyson LOVED the toothbrush and carried it around for over and hour. Since then we have been brushing his teeth with it every night and he still loves it.

Later that morning Michael and Tallulah went outside to shovel the driveway. Greyson and I watched from the warmth of the house.

After Michael came in from the snow he and Greyson played with new train and mat that Grandma and Grandpa Amick gave him for Christmas.

Tallulah has decided that she loves the mat. She likes to lay right in the middle of town!

I love the picture of Greyson looking out the window. Great job capturing all 3 of them in one shot! The boys sleeping is pretty sweet, too. Happy New Year and glad you kept it safe for Christmas.
