One Angry Little Bear

Last night I started packing for our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Since the weather there right now has highs in the low 70's and lows in the high 30's I decided we will need to pack some warmer items. So I went down to the basement to search through Greyson's crate of out-of-season and either too-big or too-small clothes. I was taken a back by some of his teeny tiny clothes...that are so small!!

But more importantly I found lots of things that should fit him now and are long sleeved. One exciting find was the bear outfit. It's actually our second bear outfit. He had a blue one that he wore when he was almost 2 months old. At that time we weren't going out very much so he only wore it once or twice.
He was so cute, but sadly this is the only photo I can find of him in it. This was 3 days after he came home!

We were also given a brown bear outfit that was 6 month sized. In all my preemie reading it said that preemies usually take a year to catch-up size wise with their birth age and sometime even their adjusted age. So I figured that the brown bear would fit him this fall. Greyson apparently did not read the same books because he is right on target for size and barely fit into the bear outfit. It was snug and he was one unhappy monkey...er bear.
This photo just makes me laugh because he looks like a bear about to attack his Daddy.

Needless to say he won't wear this again. It's really too bad because it is so cute! I'll be packing it back up to save it for the next baby...years down the road. It's just too adorable.

I wish you lived closer so that you could dip into all of Radar's warmies that I doubt he'll ever get to wear. It's usually 90+ here in the Bahamas and he's growing like a weed (his body anyway... seems he's stuck with mommy's short legs!) so all the fall / winter stuff I hoped he'd get to wear is going to have to find a new home.

Have a great trip... I look forward to seeing pics of Greyson's great adventures!

RAaWWRrrRRRR!
You two should know better than to pick up wild animals!
Good to hear you'll be taking that bear back to his homeland in Colorado.
