You are 7 months old. You have now been out in the world longer than you were growing inside me. At this point I am happy to say that a stranger on the street would never know that you made such an early appearance. In fact just today when we were at the grocery store a woman asked how old you are and I said "He just turned 7 months old." to which she replied "Wow, he seems big for his age!" I just smiled thinking about how far you have come.
We have started feeding you some solid foods. I wanted to wait awhile longer but you seemed so interested in what other people are eating that I thought we might as well give it a try. So far we have had mixed success. You really don't like cereal and I can't blame you - it is gross. Prunes are your favorite so far. We also have tried pears (which are only so-so in your opinion) and sweet potatoes (which are okay, but not your favorite). I'm having trouble finding green veggies that are appropriate first foods that I'm not allergic to, so you'll just have to make due with fruits and sweet potatoes for a while.
You have also found your voice. It ranges from a surprisingly deep and raspy "hey" to a high-pitched dolphin-like squeal. You babble now and I'm interested in what your first word may be. Technically it could be "Hey" which is seems like you say all the time, but I'm holding out for "Dada" or "Momma". We joke that your first word will be "Tallulah" because we are always saying it.
Speaking of Tallulah, everyone asks how you two get along and the only word for it is "famously". You love each other. She has always liked laying near you. She gets anxious when you are upset and she likes to play near you. You love to pet her. You are always reaching out to touch her fur and often grab a hold of her legs. She is clearly your puppy and I think you will be the best of friends.
Oh and that tooth that started to cause us problems a month ago has FINALLY started to really come in and man is it sharp!
Greyson I love you. You are an amazing little guy who makes our world a better place.
Love always,
Momma

I look like that after most of my meals too. Grey takes after his Auntie!
I too would never guess that Greyson was a premie. Radar is just a couple of weeks younger than Greyson by official birthday standards and it seems to me that they are very comparable - I could have written a very similar letter to Radar. In short, he seems very 7-monthish to me! Have you tried zucchini? If you're not allergic, that's one of the veggies that Radar seems to think are ok.
Keep growing Greyson... you're beautiful!
