What a weekend?! - Now with Photos!

We had an exciting weekend. Here is the run-down.
Friday: It was project day at the house. One of those projects included Michael putting a waterproof sealant on the patio in the backyard. Everything seemed fine until about an hour later when the heater finally kicked on and suddenly the house was a full of fumes.

We grabbed Greyson and jumped in the car to get out of the house. We decided that we couldn't stay in the house so while one of us stayed in the car with Greyson the other packed a bag and then we packed up Tallulah and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Perry's for the night.

Our first sleep over was a great success! The Grands took such good care of us and even sent Michael and I back to bed while they watched Greyson on Saturday morning. Those 2 hours were the best two hours if sleep I've had in 4 months! THANK-YOU!!

Saturday: After our great morning nap we packed up and headed out to the zoo! The Kansas City Zoo recently renovated the building I will always know as "The Reptile House". Saturday was the sneek peek for Friends of the Zoo to see the new "Tropics". Unfortunately by the time we got there and stopped by the gift shop to get a hat for Greyson we missed the preview. That didn't stop us from having a nice time. I carried Greyson around in the Moby Wrap and we checked out the new otter exhibit and the orangutans before heading home. That afternoon we just recovered from the zoo trip and geared up for Easter.

We were checking out some Red Pandas.

Sunday: Happy Easter! We spent this Easter with my family in Liberty. It was nice to see my Grandmother (now a Great-Grandmother) and Aunt Gail and Uncle Jim. Everyone had a great time and was shocked at how much Greyson has grown. After Easter Lunch we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Amick's for some fun with the wii!

The wii is so much fun. We bowled, boxed and then Michael and my dad played a round of Golf. Greyson slept peacefully in the baby buggy that my mom recovered. We had another Easter meal before heading back home to crash from our weekend.

Whew

OMG!!! He looks like such a big boy! I can't wait to see you in May! Will Greyson be coming? My little guy is still on house arrest so he won't be making the trip.
