When I was still in the hospital Michael put up this Christmas tree and decorated a little bit. Thank goodness because I just don't have it in me this year to decorate. But something was missing - a stocking for Greyson! So yesterday I went out and bought new stockings for our growing family. So now we all have matching mini-stockings. Michael is the Snow Man, I'm the Reindeer and Greyson, of course is the Little Bird!

I also picked one more up for Greyson's room in the NICU (it's a penguin). And speaking of the NICU I also brought our holiday board books up there, so we can read to him about Christmas.

I also thought you might want a peek at the isolette. We have it covered with the blanket from his room at home to help keep out the noise and the light.

Preemies like it dark and quite - more womb like. The NICU is working on weening the temp in the isolette so soon he will be able to be in an open crib. That is one of the milestones he needs to master before he can go home! I had a secret hope that he would be home for Christmas, but I think early to mid January is more likely. That just means that next year we will celebrate even more!
