Thursday at 2:00am I woke up to bleeding - LOTS of bleeding. Lot's of "holy hell, what is going on!?" bleeding. I called 911 and after a very exciting hospital ride found ourselfs at the hospital with placenta previa. Luckily, its only marginal so I haven't had any bleeding since then. I've been given to steriod shots, so if worse, comes to worse then the little bird already has some steroids in then that will help with his lungs. The NICU people came down and talked to us about the survival of a 28 weeks baby and really it looks pretty good. I'm hoping that we can keep him safe and sound for many, many more weeks.
The lates word from the doctor is that we may be able to go home on Monday or Tuesday. Which would be GREAT!
So once again the little bird is scaring the crap out of us, but he seems to be doing just fine. He didn't even notice the contractions and problems. He is just a happy baby going crazy and keeping me on my toes - well actually on my back - since I'm on bed rest for a very long time. As soon as I have more information I'll keep everyone informed.

I have a theory- I think he knew all the sweet stuff he got at his shower a few weeks ago and was just excited to see it all! :)
I am so sorry you had this scare but try to enjoy the bedrest. You won't get any down time for 18 years after he is here! :)
All my love! I wish I could be there with you!!!! Hang in there and keep that little bird in line! :) I know you can make it to 2009!!! I just know it!!!!!!!
